Pool A features Penn State (take your shoes off...) who was a quarterfinalist last year, Virginia Tech who reached the Round of 16 last year and Rice.
Pool B has Weber State who was a finalist last year (after losing to Michigan State on Kicks from the Mark), Northeastern who we last saw in the Open semifinals in 2011 and Texas A&M who was a quarterfinalist from last year.
Pool C contains Ohio State who reached the Round of 16 last year, Colorado School of Mines who also reached the Round of 16 last year and UCSB who we last saw in the 2011 quarterfinals.
Pool D has Texas who reached the Round of 16 last year, UC Davis and Cincinnati who reached the Open semifinals last year.
Pool E features Colorado State who reached the Open quarterfinals last year, Kansas State who we last saw in the 2007 consolation quarterfinals and Michigan who we last saw in the 2011 consolation quarterfinals.
Pool F has Florida who reached the consolation final last year, Illinois who reached the quarterfinals last year and UTEP.
Pool G contains Georgia who reached the Round of 16 last year, Colorado who also reached the Round of 16 and Missouri who reached Open quarterfinals last year.
Pool H features Michigan State, defending national champion, Delaware 2011 consolation quarterfinalist and Cal Poly who reached the semifinals last year.
Looking at the pools it appears Michigan State might have a fight on their hands in their own pool. Will they have enough to go all the way again?
Men's Championship Division play begins at 8am on Thursday with Michigan State opening their defense against Cal Poly against 9:45am.
