Men's Championship Scenarios (UNOFFICIAL)

Pool A
Penn State v. Virginia Tech

Penn State advances with a win. Eliminated from national championship contention with a loss or draw.
Virginia Tech advances with a draw. Wins group with a win of 2 or more goal differential. Eliminated with loss.
Rice advances to Round of 16. Wins group with Penn State win. 2nd place if Virginia Tech wins by 2 or more goals.

PKs for first if Virginia Tech wins 1-0 between Virginia Tech and Rice.

Pool B
Northeastern v. Weber State

Weber State wins group with win or draw. Eliminated if loss by 2 or more goals.
Northeastern wins group with win by 2 or more goals. Eliminated with loss or draw.
Texas A&M advances with Northeastern loss or draw.

Other scenarios exist.  Brain slow.

Pool C
Colorado School of Mines v. Ohio State
Colorado School of Mines advances with a win. Eliminated from national championship contention with a loss or draw.
Ohio State advances with a draw. Wins group with a win of 2 or more goal differential. Eliminated with loss.
UCSB advances to Round of 16. Wins group with Colorado School of Mines win. 2nd place if Ohio State wins by 2 or more goals.

Pool D
UC Davis v. Texas

Texas wins group with win.
UC-Davis wins group with win.
Cincinnati advances as 2nd place with a victory by either team.

If there is a tie:
0-0: Texas and Cincinnati advance to PKs to determine 1st and 2nd, UC Davis eliminated (Goals For)
1-1; Texas wins group (Goals For); UC Davis and Cincinnati PKs for 2nd (tied with 1 goal each)
2-2 or more; Texas wins group (Goals For); UC Davis advances (goals for); Cincinnati eliminated
