Pool A features Texas who was a semifinalist last year; Florida who we last saw in 2011 in the Round of 16; Salt Lake City Community College who played in Open last year.
Pool B has Illinois who was an Open finalist last year; Colorado who reached the quarterfinals last year and Cal Poly who reached the Round of 16 last year.
Pool C contains UCLA who reached the Open semifinals last year, Pittsburgh who reached the quarterfinals last year and Dayton who we last saw in the 2008 semifinals.
Pool D has Texas A&M who was in the Round of 16, Delaware who was also in the Round of 16 and Clemson.
Pool E features UCSB finalist from last year, Missouri Open quarterfinalists last year and USAFA Prep who we last saw in the 2009 Open tournament.
Pool F has Penn State who was an Open semifinalist last year, Virginia Tech who reached the consolation quarterfinals last year and Miami (OH) who was a consolation finalist last year.
Pool G contains Colorado State who reached the Round of 16 last year, Ohio State who reached the quarterfinals last year and USC who we last saw in the 2011 Open semifinals.
Pool H features North Carolina who reached the quarterfinals, Michigan who reached the consolation quarterfinals and Baylor who reached reached the Round of 16 last year.
Who has the best chance? With a new champ this year it looks like this tournament will be very interesting.
